The SBA Offers Continuing Financial Support

Most notably for SMEs, the SBA is the source of STEP Grant funding to each state in the US. Check with your state’s international office for details.


As a repeat from earlier articles, the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) ended on May 31, 2021. Existing borrowers may be eligible for PPP loan forgiveness.

The SBA extends financial assistance to for-profit small businesses through its lending partners, such as banks, certified development companies, and microloan intermediaries. For information on the SBA 7(a) loan program including eligibility, please visit:
